I just recently started posting some chapters of a story I'm writing called The Iron Teeth. It's a dark fantasy online story. I know a lot of people here are into that genre of stuff so I thought I would give you all a heads up. I will be updating it every Sunday and Wednesday. Each update will be a chapter between 3000 and 4000 words.
Synopsis: These are the Iron Teeth. This is the north proper. The very knife edge of civilization. Here among the stark mountains and endless forests there are undiscovered treasures amongst countless unmarked graves. Here monsters stalk the night and outlaws gather. It is the land of the desperate and the foolish. A land of singular wonders and crushing horror.
Here dwells Myagnoir the Doom of Coroulis, the Great Drake, the City Killer, the Greatest Enemy of Man. His coming sealed the north's decline that the wars of the south begun and shattered all hopes of safety from those wars' depredations. Amongst the icy ruins of the once great Coroulis he rules unchallenged.
Here the Forest People wait and plot their revenge on the kingdoms of men. Those that drove them from their ancestral homes, but whose once unmatched power now wanes. Amongst all this simple people struggle to survive and carve out new lives for themselves far from the greed and wrath of kings.
Now arrives a newcomer, a captive, a slave, a goblin, a spark onto tinder. The North shall burn, and only time will tell what rises from the ashes.

The Iron Teeth is a online story or web serial that is updated weekly Sundays and sometimes on Wednesdays. Each update will be between 3000 and 4000 words. It is a dark fantasy story that focuses on the life of Blacknail the goblin in the Iron Teeth mountains. These mountains are on the northern human frontier and are filled with dangerous creatures and places. In this world human civilization outside their ancestral Homelands is fragile and covers only a small portion of the world. After a raid on a caravan Blacknail is taken in by a band of violent bandits to be their servant. Tragic events however will lead him and the world down a far different path.
This story will examine topics such as wilderness survival and the roots of civilization.
I was inspired to write this by other web serials especially Worm by Wildbow. If any of you even remotely like superhero stuff and you haven't read Worm read that as well. It's one of the best stories on the planet.
