was updating my ps3 slim,halfway theu the update i lost power.i switched it off but when i switched it on the power button went grreen but there was no signal on tv,i tried accessing safe mode but it is still failing.what do i do pliz help.
While I hope someone owning a PS3 stops by and gives you help, perhaps you'd be better served by looking in Sony's PS3 Forums, or contacting Sony Tech Support?

1.Check your cables are they all plugged firmly ?2. Turn the PS3 on by the switch at the back then switch it on at the front, the light should be green after that just turn the PS3 back to standby and you should have a red light. Now press and hold the on button until the PS beeps 2 times.Wait up to 20 seconds a message should appear on the screen giving you further information.If it doesnt work you may do a manual update with a Hammer on it.
