On all the other Stardock forums, over on the right side of the entry for each thread, there's a button that will take you to the last post you read in that forum. If you hover over it, a tooltip appears that says "Go to last post".
In the GalCiv III forums, that button doesn't show (at least for me using Firefox). It's there, I can mouse over it and click on it, but I can't see it.
