Crashing games on purpose

By on March 14, 2012 3:18:16 AM from Demigod Forums Demigod Forums

Hi guys

Its cool that DG got back into action and there is play every day now! Lots of new players too....fun! Oh, and while I am here...I dont care about your %!!! I'll play with anyone. (I am a mid player I guess. And since I been inactive for a while...I am in the high noobs! )

I play every now and then and I have seen more and more games end in "invalidated gamestate". This means that the game crashed and the game does NOT count towards your record. Good for loosers. Bad for winners.

Sometimes this does happen without a reason from any player. Thats fine. $hit happens.

But I have noticed more and more of these lately. So much as maybe 1-2 times a game night. That can not only be technical....must be on purpose from someone .

I guess people do this on purpose when the game isnt going their way. Or sometimes someone just get bored? (this I dont get...long games are fun!)

Could you people please stop this? More then me must been noticing this? If I notice someone in 1-1 or if its obvious someone who leaves then the game crashes....and that person was loosing. I may simply stop playing with them. If more people do that...well....justice sometimes have a funny way to show itself

Hey there, just started playing this game a few days ago. I like it.  Im still officially a noob and self admittedly i kind of suck. However im not blind and sort of noticed this thing going on. On about 5 games played online at least 3 ended with some players "vanishing" from the game, usually at "convenient" moments, ( for them) reminds me of my young days playing starcraft when you could simply unplug the modem from your network card and get a draw instead of a lose.  (  not that i used this cheap technique myself mind you )

Yep, thats normal too.

But what I am writing about is people who somehow manage to destroy the game itself so it resets. Thats just wrong!
