Settings/Preferences not saving

Been happening for ages now, every time I start up Demigod, whether through Impulse or not, none of my previous game settings are saved. That is;

*Video/Sound options must be reset every launch

*Custom Game mode settings must be reset every launch (they're not default)

 

Anyone know how to fix this?

i would try navigating to your settings folder and setting that folder to be NOT read only

 

This is the only reason i can think of that may be the cause of your problems -- it happens in most games when setting files are set to read only

This can also happen if you have your game.prefs file set as read only.  On my pc, game.prefs can be found at:

C:\Users\THIS IS WHERE YOUR USERNAME GOES\Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod

Then just right click on game.prefs and uncheck read only.  I had this issue at one point a LONG time ago and the change I mentioned fixes it instantly.  Let us know if either solution works for you.

Changed game.prefs to not be read only, and it works. Huzzah~
