Sounds great. I was actually looking for Starcraft 2 players on here. Thought I could get acquainted and maybe play a game or 2 and ever learn from their experience with the game.

I'm a player in the sense that I have the game I really *want* to get into it and actually play it on the ladder because I love the game, but I never felt quite at home with 1v1 RTS games and I work during the day which really wouldn't leave me a lot of time to sit and play.

I do follow the tourneys and love watching the casts, I just don't get to play it much. Maybe once I get the couple tanks I really want in World of Tanks, I'll get some time to actually get better at SC2. I was placed in Platinum in season 1, though I didn't play more than 10-15 games total, and for some reason after losing my 1 season 2 match to get put back on the ladder, it took me to Diamond.. and I'm definitely not Diamond level

I love and hate SC2 at the same time... There's units that totally rocks and replace the one not there from SC1 but there's some from SC1, for protoss and especially for the zergs that are missing too much and makes me miss SC1.

SC 2 is really great, I love it but well... Its just missing !

Before starting a true SC match, I'll wait for heart of the swarm to come out and see what will the new units be.

Else, I do a lot of custom games online like parasite ! Which is truly an amazing map but I suck at it ! lol makes me remember of the thing of john carpenter.

I don't have doom 3... never had the chance to try it out though I'm a fan of Doom 1 and 2 !

I don't have SC2 yet, primarily because I don't have a computer capable of handling it yet. but I have been paying close attention to the happenings with it. I am also irritated with the lose of some protoss and zerg stuff too, specifically the dark archon (Blizzard, give me one good lore reason for this, when the protoss are facing extinction!) and the lurker (doomed from the beginning by the zerg tech tree shuffle that made them Tier 3), and even some terran stuff being campaign specific like the firebat, the medic, and the Perdition turret. It doesn't help matters that the zerg are in dire need of some help.

I would like to play Sins of a Solar Empire and its expansions.

I would also like to play StarCraft/Brood War too, because the AI is getting really pathetic and it is very hard to find games on the official maps, though I am not nearly as good with the zerg and the protoss as I am with the terrans.

having a soase night myself this evening.  None of us are all that spectacular, but I'd enjoy adding some of you folks to some games in the future if interested. 

I'm totally down for a Starcraft II meetup whenever, I play pretty much daily. I'm gold league but don't mind playing with or against higher/lower ranked players as long as people are mature and want to learn alongside myself. Nick: Lucid / Character Code: 725

Also playing Crysis 2 multiplayer pretty badly but am getting better (not a huge FPS guy).

I've been playing SMP minecraft a whole bunch. I am an admin on a 1.4 server and have been working on making dungeons and mazes for the people on my server to run.

I have also been playing magicka.

I'd be up for a SoaSE game.  Let me know when you play.

Disappointing that this thread didn't get any better use out of it. So lets try again. It's real simple. You check my list of games and if you want to play one of'em in multiplayer you add me to your list of STEAM friends. If you don't got STEAM running all the time like I do then ask for MSN, Skype etc.

You should also make your own list of games (preferrably inserting your own STEAM library).

Actually never played it and wasn't my intention of even getting it.

The wintersale had Half-Life 1 Anthology at a fantastic discount and getting the pack of Half-Life, Opposing Forces, Blue Shift and TFC was cheaper than getting the Half-Life games individually. So scratch that one from my list
