Just writing down ideas for demigod2 in case any future devs ever read this forum.
At the Citadel you can buy and place different types of towers and destroyable health crystals. Say a 50hp/50mana per second one with 5000hps. and a 100hp/100 mana per second one with 10000hps.
Select from different monsters to purchase instead of just priests->angels->cata->giants. Maybe instead of priests, stronger archers with longer range so they can beat on towers outside of zap range.
Make other citadel upgrades more viable. Ie building damage upgrade should be a strategic choice to buy not just something extra u buy at the end.
Every 2.5 mins or on recapture able to choose which lanes your monster portal spawns walk down by clicking on portal.
Useless favor items and equipment being buffed to add variety to game.
Summoned Idols giving some xp depending on which idol.
