Some Noob Questions

Hi, I am pretty new to the game, and to this forum as well obv.

I have some basic questions:

Are any of the demigods considered better of worse than the rest? If I where to play online, is there one specific DG I am likely to meet a lot? (is it just me, or is unclean beast pretty overpowered)

What valor items are considered best? I realize this is probably DG-dependent, but still...

I guess that's it for now, thanks for helping me out

You will currently see lots of UB and Erebus, they will be a thorn in your side until you learn how to play better.

Favor items that are commonly used are Blood of The Fallen, Blade of The Serpant, Swift Anklet, Heavens Wrath, Cloak of Night, Poison Dagger, Amulet of Teleportation, and the one that cures you of all negitive effect... can't think of the name...

Just to let you know there is a tab on the Favor items selection UI. I missed it for a few weeks when I was new....

I play a lot of erebus myself. I guess the UB makes the cure item quite wanted.

I'm pretty new, too. To begin with, I liked playing as Sedna due to her healing abilities and high HP/ HP recovery. You will be able to get a good feel for the game without pissing off your teammates by dying all the time.

In the Panthenon section under "Top Demigod" of this site there are interesting Stats on which Demigods are used the most, and thier win percentage. UB and Erebus is at the top for win percent but it seem that Regulus is used the most.

I've seen people use Oak and about halfway through the game he will be redicoulously overpowered. I've looked at Oak guides and I still don't understand how they get so strong.

This is a objective statistic ranking the strongest (wins/losses) Demigods on top and the weakest Demigods on the bottom.

If you play erb, don't waste your favor item on the cure affects item. Spend a level point in mist, and get another favor item.

Oh yeah, they where unrelated statements. I will usualy take a mana item or the teleporting cloak.

I was wondering though, is it commonly considered best to invest only one skill point in mist? Same for bat swarm. I guess 2 points in it is worth it, because the big range is very handy. But is the extra damage worth the third point?
