Cant connect via LAN but can via net.

So I live with a friend who just bought the game with me (one copy each), oddly enough we appear to be unable to see each others games on the network, though we can connect to each other through the net custom games option.  I assume that due to the p2p nature of the game, it doesnt really matter which way we connect as it shouldn't be going through the web anymore if it's just us two, but just thought I'd point out this bizzare issue.

This didn't happen with a previous version of the game that we tried from a friend (1.00).

Problem fixed, appears hamachi (now uninstalled) killed our ability to play -any- game over LAN, lolwut?

Probably having to do with Windows assuming that the Hamachi is the default internet connection, thus picking the wrong one for a LAN.

Probably yeah, though I had checked our connection priorities amongst many other things and couldn't make out why it was getting in the way.  Nothing had been changed in hamachi recently, but then I remembered I'd had a similar problem with another game in the past, and hamachi was the cause so I deleted it and low and behold, problem fixed.

I just seem to have bad luck with hamachi, after not changing anything for weeks it suddely screwed the pooch, hasn't been the same since they were bought out
