Map Load screen [no text] crash/lock-up.

Ok I've gotten this four times now, it only ever happens on 4vs4 or bigger maps. The host will start the game and it'll go to the loading screen, and where it says the map name and the gametype in the center of the screen, the gametype will be replaced with "[no text]" and my entire game will freeze up and I will have to restart my computer because alt tab, alt f4 or ctrl alt del wont get rid of the Demigod screen.  It's quite annoying because people who I haven't played with before will probably think I have a bad connection/computer or something and couldn't load up fast enough and will avoid me in the future .

Deleting your Game.prefs file should fix it. If it comes back again later, please grab your prefs file and demigodlog from My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod immediately the first time it happens and send them in to [email protected] so we can track down the cause.

kryo, doesnt game.pref file has your username and password? i believe i read something about that before....if so, GOT CHA

It's still happening to people in my games, it happens to everyone in the game at once.

It stopped doing it when we all deleted our pref file, but 3 games later it's back again.

I'll send in my files I guess.

I had this problem trying to play 3v3 game with 6 arranged people.   I got "no text" and game froze twice.

 

Then somehow it fix itself when the same 6 of us played a 4v4 (8people) game after the 2 crash.  Not sure what the fix was.  I didn't delete any game.pref.
