Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Demigod. We apologize that you are not satisfied with your purchase.

Since your game was purchased at a retail location, it needs to be mailed to us for a refund. We need the entire retail box with all of its contents, your original sales receipt, and your name with address to process your return. We recommend making a copy of your sales receipt before mailing the original to us. Please mail everything to:

Please write the following Return Merchandise Authorization code on your receipt:

The RMA code above is good for 15 days from the date of this email. We must receive your game within this time frame.

When we receive your game and find that everything is included and intact, we will issue a refund check for the purchase price of the game as shown on your receipt. Please allow up to 4 weeks after we receive your game for the check to reach you.

We recommend mailing the game via Parcel Post or Media Mail, whatever is the least expensive, as we cannot reimburse you for the shipping charges.

If you have any questions about this process, please let us know. Otherwise, reply to this message when you have mailed out the package so we can expect its arrival.

Sorry to hear you couldnt make it work. Why not just keep the game, not worth all the trouble to just get 40 dollars back. Then come back in a month or so and see if the new updates have fixed something for you?

There are "cults" for every game, and if you make a post about something that my seem negative in there eyes, they will be on you like a hawk

 

So just leave em be and go on with life, as it is too short for this kind of thing

What?  You lost the reciept and you're unwilling/unable to pay the $3 to return it?  This seems to be more a reflection on you than anyone else.  I assume you are 12-14 range, so you're forgiven fouls like this, but you need to drop it.  And it certainly has nothing to do with tech support...

Rofl fallen right from the stardock employee's mouth ... GG to you good sir. If you could read you would of read i said i came to the thread to TRY and help BUT decided NOT to because you are a 12 yr old who doens't know how a buisness works.

 

But all in all im done explaining how it works. Have fun crying and not getting your money back because your 12 yr old self lost the recepit and is throwing a tantrum beacuse you have to pay $2-3. Lol welcome to the real world son!

They are being extremely courteous to you, and you are being a total dickwad. Either do as they ask to get your money back, or shut the fuck up.

So you want your money back but you don't want to give back the product? You're not returning it to the store and you want your money back. The US Postal Service has these things call shipping fee's. As you may not be aware, the US Mail, is not a free service. Small products use these things called stamps, larger ones have shipping and handling fees. It insures your product gets where it needs to in one peice.

It's useless for you and that sucks. I'm not going to speculate on your machine, your ability to port forward, or your connection. The game is useless for you, so you're going to get your money back. If you don't want to ship it, then return it to the store.

RMA numbers are time based because a person can cheat the system. Buy a game, use it until they're bored and then return it. That's the reason for the time constraints.

You lost your receipt. It happens. You have options. Did you pay by credit card or cash? If you paid by card, the store will have records of your receipt. If cash, you're out of luck. Cash is untraceable for a reason. The location you bought the game from, do they have reward points or some membership plan? If so, your receipt may be traceable.

Most of us that are ragging on you are familiar with retail and/or business processes.

Why should you get your money back without a receipt? How do they know you didn't steal the game? What's to stop you from playing once you get your money back (as the game is already installed on your computer.) These are all factors.
