The Harper
[Name]: The Harper (real name Kaira Isia)
[Type]: General
[Alignment]: Light
[Appearance]: Gorgeous female wearing a white dress and running around barefoot. (Whoa! It’s a female Demigod that’s not half naked and riding on something? Heresy!) She carries the Swan Harp and is lifted up when she enters her Vocalize form, being carried around the arena on her music. Her ranged attacks look like a heat wave that come forth from her harp.
[Strengths]: Strengthens Allies
Decrease Enemy Effectiveness
[Weaknesses]: Very Weak Attacks
Reliant on Minions
[Background]: Kaira was born with the knowledge of things present and things past, only the future was unknown to her. She spent her youth in the Sundrop Isles, east of the Halus Kingdom where war was often present. The people of the isles were peaceful and Kaira never so much as saw a sword or spear until later in her life. She was gifted with an angelic voice and great beauty separating her from her family and friends. Villagers would often find Kaira singing amongst the forest animals who would become entranced by her voice. Kaira’s songs could move the proud to tears and revive the sorrowful.
Kaira was known to view the setting sun upon the ocean, and eventually gained a desire to venture forth into the world. The villagers were troubled when they learned of this but Kaira promised to return. Before she left, the villagers gifted her with the Swan Harp, one of the Sundrop Isles most prized treasures. Honored, she received it and traveled across the Serzin Gulf to the lands of Halus.
While traveling through Halus, Kaira survived by performing in the villages she passed. It wasn’t long before she was well known and adored by the people of Halus. When the Borshon Kingdom went to war with Halus many of the outside villages were caught in between the fighting and were destroyed. On one such event when the armies of Halus and Borshon stood against one another for battle, Kaira walked in the midst of the charging armies. She began to play and sing in the center of the chaos and the armies once charging soon stopped in their footsteps and gathered around Kaira. She performed for hours entrancing the multitude with her divine talents.
As soon as she stopped playing the soldiers cheered and demanded that she continued. Kaira spoke about peace and said that she would leave the lands of Halus only returning when the war was ended. As she left, the soldiers followed her and swore their allegiance to her cause of peace. Overtime they became known as the Songblades, being carried upon the melodic bliss of Kaira’s songs they defended her from evils too deafened by darkness to turn.
Kaira eventually returned to the Sundrop Isles and found her home under assault. She called forth the Songblades and they aided her in saving her homeland. From that day forward she swore to spread her music and peace throughout the world.
[Abilities]: The Harper plays similar to Sedna in that she is mainly a support Demigod. She is much more reliant on minions as her main attack is very weak and she loses her attack when she enters her Vocalize form. She may be the most ‘General’ oriented Demigod.

=======
The concept for The Harper is music and beauty. She would become the god of bards if she were to ascend. As I stated in the description above, the female Demigods at the moment are half naked and ride something… and why Sedna? I get the riding Sila thing but, she’s from the arctic so she should be wearing more clothing.
Anyhow, The Harper should add some flavor. It would take a bit of work to make her right as she sings/plays a different tune for each ability. In the Vocalize form she constantly plays the harp and sings/hums to the tune until its disabled. This is also a weakness as the enemy can guess what form you’re in and what ability you’re about to use.
Writing these Demigod characters are fun and even though it takes some time to do it, its becoming addictive. I am curious if any devs actually read these and find them interesting.
Let me know what you think about The Harper. Thanks for reading.
