Hey guys, a weird problem has popped up.

Howaboutnoooo and i can't connect in game at all.  I have no idea why.

This is the only person i have a problem with, and he says the same.

Im on fios (30 down 20 up) and am wired in to the router.  As far as i know all of my ports for demigod are open and forwarded.

Im not sure what ISP and configuration Nooo has, hopefully he will post it below.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

J

Which ports did you forward and for which protocol? Which ports did he forward and for which protocol?

i have ports 6100, 6103 and a plethora of others... both protocols as well TCP & UDP

We were able to connect by placing both of out computers in the DMZ - yech...  so it must be a port config issue even though we both had the same ports forwarded...

6100, 6103 and a plethora of others sounds weird . You have to forward the ports that you configured via the ImpulseReactorOptions.exe

Check the monk's guide for details... back when I was having some connectivity problems, I went through the guide in detail and it resolved them completely.

Hope that helps, jon!

Cool, thanks for the guide Pacov, i'll check it against my settings to see if there is something I can adjust.  I definitely don't want to put my computer in the DMZ for any length of time lol.

Spooky, i made sure i forwarded the exact same ports that NoooOoooOOOooOO had forwarded to see if there was an issue. We just wanted to match them up.  I don't know why some of them were opened lol.

Well, it doesn't matter which ports he forwarded. You simply have to forward the ports, that are defined with ImpulseReactiorOptions.exe. By default they are in the 6100 to 6200 range (I don't remember the exact default values).

Also forwarding port 6073 (the default hosting port) is a good idea too.

Demigod is trying to protect you from Max.

Straight to the nuts with that comment.  If I could figure out why pressing quote does not work for me I would quote you.

The End

Lol I'm just kidding, he's fun to play with.

Jon, if you still can't connect with him, you could simulate Max by playing with someone else with "death be upon you!" and "you whore!" on a loop for about the same effect.
