Hahaha.. that's sad, but oh so funny.

man, I knew football was worse than video games!   Look at that, sex in our sports!  Obviously this one example stands for all football broadcasts, and strict censorship rules should be carried out henseforth.

You should have to be over the age of 18 to watch or participate in football.  The TV needs to do an age verification everytime you change to a sports channel, and football related things should not be sold in mainstream stores unless to a carded adult.  (checking everybody who looks under 25 or 30)

Yeah, it's crazy heh? Remember the big stink they made over the whole Janet Jackson thing? And you had to be plastered to your TV to even notice it. Well, imagine just 15 seconds of straight Jenna Jameson porn. That's bringing it to a whole another level.

I think the whole thing is pretty comical but I feel bad for any children who might have seen it. I wonder what Comcast's next move will be.

Funniest story ever!!!  No if only we americans could stop worchipping violence and accept that everyone of us is here because someone had sex.  Just get over it!!!  Sex happens and if you are luck it happens often.  Sex is not something to be ashamed of or hidden away.

Quoting CapnWinky,
I wonder what Comcast's next move will be.
According to rumor: giving $5.00 to everybody affected.

Quoting Trigeminal,
Sex is not something to be ashamed of or hidden away.
For many people, it's really not something to be done publically, or to be exposed to young children at random.

I personally think a little penis will do the children good, so they will learn what a naked body looks like.  It will force the parents to have "that discussion" with them the parents might otherwise have avoided and let public school or TV teach instead.

but I'm the kind of person who thinks censorship is stupid and should be done away where possible, in return have more emphisis placed on creating an educated society that isn't grounded in the sinful pleasures of man. (or at least understands such 'sins' and doesn't pretend they don't exist)

+1 to Trigeminal to show my agreement.

@Capnwinky > wait?  did you actually recognise and name the porn star involved in the clip?

Bah, most children wouldn't know what it means anyway. They'd forget it in an hour.

My understanding is that comment was related to the previous interruption earlier in the broadcast showing the closing credits for another porno that was shown on ClubJenna.  The interruption that everyone's making a fuss over is actually said to have been on Shorteez.

Not that it matters particularly.

And now that I've gone and read the linked article in the OP, I have to quote something:

Comcast said the interruption only affected the standard definition broadcast and engineers were banging away furiously at the problem around the clock to figure out what happened.

At least the "engineers were banging away at the problem". That makes me feel at ease.

February 2, 2009 6:35:37 PM from Elemental Forums Elemental Forums

yeah, I bet.   I know what kind of banging they are doing.  I wonder who could have done it (since obviously there would be news of fired people if comcast was directly responsable.)

February 2, 2009 6:52:03 PM from Elemental Forums Elemental Forums

Oh my bad...not Jenna Jameson. Club Jenna was the name of the program that was viewing, got it confused. At least they got $5 for for 30 seconds of penis viewing...

Comcast definitely learned the "hard" way...

Badoom ching (cricket chirps). Is thing on? Dont forget to tip your waitress.....
