Unless I've gone blind (common occurrence, I'm sure... ) that webpage doesn't say a thing about when the beta starts (and, by incredibly important extension, when the bill finally arrives...)

True...but that's not gonna stop me. I was interested in this game a few months ago when the previews first started, and now that I know it's a Stardock project, I'm freakin' sold.

As soon as I get back from my in-laws this weekend, and I get my car fixed up and inspected, it's of to TGN for some tokens and some pre-orderin'

Yeah, same boat on the info - both GPG and Stardock are on my "good list", but I need to know more. Gameplay footage would help a lot

Ok, it's already mid June, the summer has officially started. So far all the people who have pre-ordered the game you could at least give a hint to when the beta will come out, a month, 2, 3 or anything or whether or not you are going to delay the release of the beta.

If they didnt say you WOULDN'T get into beta when you bought it then you are in.
They've said before that they would give us a clear message when the preorder beta was full and I have yet to see one.

And no we haven't received any keys yet.

I was eager for Demigod and was looking forward to its release. However, after recently getting bitten by funcoms empty promises on Age of Conan I have learnt my lesson. Sorry but I just cannot see a game that is asking me to pre-order it before I have even seen any in-game footage to be worth my $50

Nobody gets a key until the beta begins.


When I pre-ordered I recieved a serial number. Is there going to be another key for the beta?

I used tokens to pre-order, maybe that is why the serial number was sent to me. I'm assuming when you pre-order with a credit card the serial number is sent when the charge goes through.

A serial number? Do you mean the order number on the email? I think that number is just a reference and shows Stardock that you have actually ordered. The Beta key will be different to that going by kryo's message of 'Nobody gets a key until the beta begins.'

Nope it's a serial number. I even registered it in Impulse. It's in the same format at Dark Avatar and Twilight of the Arnor. I pre-ordered from here WWW Link cost 6 tokens.

Yep, Click the edit to registrations button, then add Registrations, select games and Demigod is in there. I'm hoping the beta is soon

I should clarify Demigod doesn't show up in the My Games. I could only register it.

Ah, yeah, since TGN transactions are immediate you have to get "something" for it, so you did get a key. But there's nothing to use it for until the beta goes live
